I was under the (false) assumption that the VirtualFull would just look at
previous backup jobs and consolidate them.
But instead of using 'FileSet = "None"', I tried 'FileSet = "LinuxSet"' and it
started working.
So I guess that means I need to create a

Since your email is huge I am not going to answer inline or quote
large sections. The problem you are having is caused by not having any
volumes labeled. To fix this you will most likely want to enable
automatic volume labeling.

Hello everybody
I have two simple questions about expiration.
I use Bacula 3.02 on a CentOS 5.3 system. My backup schedule maybe looks a bit
standard and is as follows: Full backup on the first sunday of the month.
Expiration = 1/2 year. Every other sunday a differential backup. Expiration 40

Hello
We have switched to Bacula from Backup Exec and being software developers
ourselves really appreciate Bacula and how simple it is to get going
quickly.
We have two autoloaders a TL4000 and a Dell PV132T each system has two
drives in it.
Therefore I am assuming that at any one time
Hello, thank you very much for your reply.
I do not think the tapes are broken because it occurs on two different
machines, there are about 60 films and many of them new.
Moreover there are no errors in the logs of SCSI.
I'm lost, I do not know where to look.
If I boot BTAP, run a test goes as fo

So I talked to the people who are hosting today, and they had indeed done a
mistake replacing the tapes. It was now completely full. I asked them to
remove one (the 24 slot, VolumeTag=ARS655L3) and he did. Now, I was going to
follow your procedure, and started with a status to see

Hi everybody:
We have a Suse Enterprise Server 10 SP 2 (SLES10SP2) that include
glibc 2.4 (glibc-2.4-31.54). I see that bacula 2.4 requiere glibc 2.5
and bacula 3.0.2 requiere glibc 2.6.
Is there a way for bacula works on SLE

Hi,
I'm running Bacula/sqlite v3.0.2 on Debian/squeeze (package version is
3.0.2-3+b1).
I've noticed the following peculiar output when listing files in
bconsole during restore:

I have a backup job set up to back up among other things several
Mercurial repositories.
Yesterday, I accidentally overwrote one of the "hgrc" files, so I wanted
to restore it from a backup, but then I discovered that the backup
apparently contained none of the "hgrc" files from any of the
