For users of the sqlite package, from 2.2.7 onward sqlite3 replaces
sqlite2. Your sqlite2 database file (/var/lib/bacula/bacula.db) is not

I have run bacula-dir and bacula-sd under Windows Small Business Server
2008 (SBS 2k8 is 64 bit only) and it worked but I had to mess with the
install a bit as the -dir and -sd are 32 bit but the -fd has to be the

We have had good look with the Overland Neo 2000 but they have bigger tape
libraries as well and you can get them with LTO3 and LTO4 drives.
I think pretty much anything that supports mtx or mt commands is compatible
with Bacula, of course anyone more knowledgeable than me may know more about
Morning,
Currently I am not required to enter a password to get into bconsole
for restores and such. Is there a way to turn on requiring a password to
bconsole (and the other b utilities) or do I need to hack the source?

Trying to get bacula up for the first time, but it seems to just not
work - specifically bconsole is unable to connect to bacula-dir. I've
double and triple checked that the password are all the same as the FAQ
suggests, no luck; and if the passwords don't agree, why wouldn't it
just find that out

Hi all,
I have succesfully installed bacula 3.0.2 on a ubuntu 8.0.4.
The only problem is that when I look at the Director Status in webmin,
nothing appear. I check with the bconsole and with a command status all, and
I have no errors, I can see all the jobs I have made in test, all the jobs
that
I forgot to mention of priority detail. I'm using the same priority,
because of concurrent jobs. I'm running 4 concurrent jobs, and if I
change the priority, one priority have to finish all the jobs to start
other priority. This is not what I want to do, I want running
concurrent jobs, but

Not a problem! Glad my little journal helped someone out :-) I need to add
to the wiki here one of these days. Just finished doing a BMR on a windows
XP machine with a custom System Rescue CD containing the bacula-fd. I think
I have a few more tricks in my little book.

Hi, list.
I'm using bacula 3.0.X with mysql database. My settings of diary
backups using the same schedule (it starts all backups on the same
time), but I want to run the scheduled backups in a pre-determinated
order.
Example: my backups of 20 clients starts at 00:10, but I want run
