Is wpkg free, BTW? I realize we're a little off-topic at this point.

This could be related to the bacula-sd failures I've been seeing.

I suggest upgrading to 2.2.4 released today, and check the release

Hi,
I have a problem with one of my SD's.
Since upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.2.3 it is always segfaulting when a
job starts to use it.

Hello,
This is just to let you know that after sending out the 2.2.4 announcement, I
got back 32 bounces, which means that 32 accounts on the bacula-announce list
were disactivated.
This clearly seems to be some sort of a bug, because I cannot imagine 32
accounts having problems ...

Bacula 2.2.4 has been committed to the FreeBSD Ports tree.

Hello,
This is to announce that I have released Bacula 2.2.4 source tar files and the
Win32 binaries to the bacula and Win32 download sections of Source Forge.
This is what I would call a minor bug fix update to 2.2.3, but it has a good
number of minor problems and bugs fixed thanks to a lot of

I don't know if this is the right place but I want to say thanks to the whole
team for this great software!
Yesterday I upgraded all the Baculas of the servers in a really flawless
process!, all compiled from source. I'm using OpenSUSE (10.0 - 10.2) in all
the equipments and a 8xLTO3 changer.

I think it depends on what you're trying to backup. I'm not really a
Windows backup person, but my understanding is that NTBackup is better
at writing out what it calls a "system state" than other ways. Perhaps
if you never intend to need to restore th

I imagine a copy gets installed someplace when you install Bacula. I'd
put it wherever I found it after install. Does that not work?

I just wanted to reassure myself:
If I use VSS I don't need ntbackup or regedit /e or something like that.
Is that correct?

Maybe it's better to write a seperate job and do a full backup
on that folder each time.

Hi list,
I am new to bacula. I have searched already the list and had a look into

Hi!
I have set up a bacula 2.0.3 server with an autochanger and several clients. My
default pool directs to the tape. So my backup lasts a long time because all
clients have to wait whil one client makes his backup. To speed up the backup I
consider to create an additional disk pool as a defaul
