Thanks a lot, Arno. Your reply saved me a day of scanning through the documentation! Things looked a bit confusing because apparently, the guy who installed Bacula first tried version 1.38.x and then settled down on 1.36.1 for whatever reasons he had. That left a bit of a mess in config files.
