Agree. A more thorough discussion and more examples on regex and wild

Use regedit to open the following path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Bacula-dir
Then edit the ImagePath value.
You need to make sure that you add the -d11 after the /service option.

Sorry I thought I'd already responded.
Are you running an antivirus program? If so, does it still happen if the
antivirus is disabled?
Do you have the portable option set to yes in the FileSet resource? If so,
does it occur if you remove it?

To get an accurate answer, you need to turn on debug level equal or greater
than 10. Probably -d11 will do.

Yeah, agreed - this needs developer attention.
Run the FD and/or both the Director and SD with trace onie. -
d100 to get the output of what is happening.
Then, supply the version info, what it's installed on and the
pertinent trace files in-line on your email and submit to the

Someone wouldn't happen to have a binary of 2.0.x for Solaris 7, would they?
We managed to retire our second-to-last Sol7 server that had all the compiler
bits, and I need to upgrade the last one. (whoops)
Thanks!

Erich,
i don't think it's the syntax on the config.
To answer you questions
1)It actually fails on the first Full backup, on certain usernames (the rest
are ok)
2)Successive runs (differential/incrementals) do not complain of this. And
I'm generally
able to perform full backup of such use

Speaking as someone who had this happen recently for whatever reason
(mine was a crash, I believe), I can say that the manual has a very good
section on this. Take a look.

Hi,
I want to setup a bacula backup server with several raid devices
connected. I don't want to build one big volume out of the raids.
Instead I need to use them as singe devices.
I want to defined lots of backup media on each of the raids so that any
job could use any media on any of the raids. I

Hi !
My bacula 2.0.1 installation is running quite nicely except for some
servers. I`ll use only one of these as an example as the others have the
same problem.
This one server has to backup more than 5 million files that are very
small (usually less than 2KB). The problem is that the perfor

I thought that the verify jobs were not for verifying backups, but only
for verifying that the contents of the filesystem didn't changed with
respect to a backup. A confussion due to the intrusion detection chapter
of the manual. Sorry.
Thanks for the answer

This is most likely something where you will get better help on the
bacula-users list.
That said, I suspect that you may have forgotten to patch the dvd+rw-tools, or
the patch that we supply for version 6.1 does not correctly patch your
dvd+rw-tools version.

I am trying to backup several PCs (Linux and Windows) into a backup
server which runs the director and the storage daemon. When running
individual test jobs, Bacula performs well. But what I am trying to
do is have Bacula director order a daily backup to all FDs at 12 NN.
However, when one PC is
