Okay, now it's been what - 3 weeks? And as far as I can tell nobody
has even looked at this problem.
What exactly needs to be done to get these issues investigated?
1. bacula-dir dies for reasons unknown when starting a backup that
uses identical configuration to other systems
2. bacula tra
Are there any *.state files in /var/bacula/ on any of
the machines? If so, stop all Bacula services, delete
those files, and start the services again. That should
do it (it did for me). Regards,

I was wondering if someone could give a quick run down of the
advantages/disadvantages of spooling the data to disk before writing it
to tape, and the advantages/disadvantages of NOT spooling.
