I am trying to create the rescue CD on a CentOS 4.3. I am using v1.38.8
of bacula fd, and I am using bacula rescue v1.8.3. This is on an x86_64
distro if that makes any difference.
Here is the output from make all when in the linux/cdrom directory of
bacula-rescue:

Hello,
I wish I could get more precise details for my case. Let's consider
backup are only made on some disks.
In bacula-dir.conf, in Job resources, we may set Spool Data attribute to
yes. From the online doc, you can read: "This option should not be used
if you are writing to a disk file".

Couldn't this be done with an infrastructure that is similar to sql

At the moment all my tapes are LTO-2 and I want to switch to LTO-3
tapes. There are three LTO-3 and one LTO-2 drive in my library. The
idea is to have a pool "old" that has its own autochanger resource
with only the LTO-2 drive and then some other pools (with only LTO-3
tapes in them) that
Hi Christoph,
I've written my answers in your text...
Dear bacula users,
I currently backup about 15 linux/windows servers to a LTO streamer. For
increased restore speed I want no parallel (interleaving) backups on the
tapes. So I set "Maximum Concurrent Jobs" of the tape storage
to 1.

Dear bacula users,

On the other hand, collecting data should happen in parallel on
