Is it possible to manage a remote DAT across a
network?
I see only example with a DAT installed locally, but
in my configuration the DAT is in a remote server.
I have a sd storage file locally, and only a fd file
remotely. but when i start to label a tape remotely,
the system works but do nothing.
I had trouble following the description of file specification in
FileSets in html-manual/dirdconf.html#FileSetResource. I want to
double-check that I am understanding it, and note some areas where the
current language or design is confusing.
I am looking at the html doc in Debian's bacula-doc 1.3
Hello!
It's me again and I still have the same problem. After getting the attached
error messages I supposed a mysql problem and updated from Version 3.23 to

problem still remains.
I really need help, because the backu

I'm trying to install Bacula on a SuSE 9.2 system. It's a dual Xeon (64-bit),
and SuSE automatically installed 64 bit versions of most libraries, rather than
32 bit.
When I use the precompiled packages, the program (gconsole) seems to run really
slowly, and complains about missing files. It's loo

Hello,
For those of you who follow or use the CVS code, please be aware that the
commit that I will make in a few minutes removes support for the old style
Include/Excludes. They are identified by the fact that the Include or
Exclude is followed by an equal sign. When the Director is started,

I was gearing up for a try of Bacula on a Fedora Core 1 host, and
wondered: is the default mysql 3 well supported, or am I better off with
mysql 4 ? Should I use sql lite instead ?
Thank you for you consideration,

Greetings,
I rebuilt bacula-1.36.2-1.src.rpm for Fedora Core 1 and found that
tray-monitor.conf is world readable; is this the intended privilege ?
Thank you for your consideration,
