ins the dash's style while making it more
mouse and touch friendly though the view more results text on the first dash
page and the files & folders recent section could be turned into slightly
larger buttons to make those parts a bit more touch friendly.
also, sorry for being long winded.

to
be some sort of category browsing interface because new users aren't going
to know what to look for and some people like myself sometimes forget the
names of less used applications. i also sadly haven't seen that many lenses
but maybe i'm just bad at finding them.

Josh St
granted having it listed like a section on the front page of a dash seems a
bit odd since it would be the first the you see but if users are going to
have to install lenses even simply through the software center it's probably
a good thing to let them know that they're called lenses.
i personally
my mockup still has a section for frequently used but only on the front page
of the dash and i noted that it was meant to exclude any item on the
launcher or the "bookmarked" section i also had in my mockup's front page.
the bookmarked section was for easy access to sometimes used but maybe not
fr
ny rate i don't like the new big orange button. i liked my dash button
up in the panel... i'd much rather have my window controls on the right and
dash button where it was in natty and there's already too much on the
launcher that i'm unable to remove.

no, but when a LOT of people are saying the same thing and not just on this
mailing list but those concerns/complaints/dislikes about unity in 11.04 are
ignored and then 11.10 seems to be giving the same people more to dislike
i'd say that all those opinions seem like they're being ignored.
On Fri
i meant to say "more to dislike without doing anything about their previous
gripes."

file

internet apps... chat and gwibber are in the top panel. firefox on my
launcher e-mail in the top panel. leaving alternate chat programs/torrent
stuff?
that leaves shotwell. i like shotwell but i don't use it. the button is
useless for me and anyone else who doesn't use shotwell.
ly available
apps, and recent files they might be working on.
it would be a big improvement in the usefulness of the dash home and cause
it to be tailored a bit more to each user's individual needs instead of just
trying to cover the normal use stuff.

#x27;s an unofficial compiz plugin to let you
move your launcher to the bottom. it makes the dash look a bit busted if
it isn't maximized but if you'd rather have it at the bottom as a work

give a bit more space between the home and apps than between apps files and
music.something like home_._._apps_files_music.
again, great stuff.
