t over PSTN costing around 3 € / hour in
Belgium, before cable internet became widespread, so being on-line
1h/day did cost you almost 100 €... (And that was for a "free" account,
meaning you only paid the phone company and not the provider, so during
"rush hours"
irefox would load
everything from one big *.jar and keep that file open. Not sure what
that would do to performance though, or if it has other disadvantages.

NixOS linux distro solved years ago.
mean is that that way the user or admin can change it without

But maybe that's a good idea: why not build this indicator as a
telepathy-based application instead of reinventing stuff? That would
also solve the current issue that for most people the indicator applet
just duplicates information that's already visib

next to the spotlight (or something like that). IIRC the theme she
prefered was "lighter blue" on "darker blue" (where the color might or
might not be relevant, I don't know).
