I have a Makefile.am in my project that automake 1.7.1 seems to choke
on. Previous versions handle it just fine (1.7, 1.6.x, and 1.5 IIRC).
This is on Linux i686, in case that matters.
Below are the current contents of this file (src/Makefile.am in my
