Hi,
this does not apply to GNOME as a whole, there are GNOME developers
listening, not to mention projects that use GTK and have nothing to do
Yes, they appear to be similar, but they are still different issues.
This topic's issue is about a user failing to login on display manger
(LightDM in this case), specially with a systemd-homed encrypted home.
But that issue is related to failing to boot and ending up in
emergency mode.

By the way, do you use TDE? If yes, how is it? Would you suggest it?
I love DE hopping. :)

Hey everyone,
I think KeePass is one of the best solutions. It supports the best possible
algorithms for
encryption and authentications; It has many clients for GNU/Linux, Android,
Windows, Mac, and
even offline and online web apps so that you can carry it with your USB flash
memory or SD
I have bitten by that too, on three systems that I maintain. Even on
the one which uses Xfce desktop. This random breaking changes to GTK
and Gnome related stuff is disrespectful to users. And the usuall
answer is that “If you don’t like it, use something else!”; but they
are damn everywhere. G
Dear all,
I am experiencing some strangeness with the Adwaita tray icons of

Hi,
I hope this is (one) of the correct places to request some help.
I followd this Wiki article
(https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_clean_chroot) and
failed on the classical way and I have no clue why :-)
I add some example output on the buttom.
Maybe related. The

Those are GTK4 applications, and the default GTK4 renderer was changed
from OpenGL to Vulkan last week. Possibly the cause for the blank windows.
If your setup doesn't support Vulkan, the renderer can be set back to
OpenGL via environment variable GSK_RENDERER=opengl.
