I'm using alsa-cvs(20020714) on 2.4.19-pre10(no devfs).
I've tried using a joystick with fm801, es1370, and cmi8738 cards.
Fm801 driver does not seem to have joystick support.
Ens1370 and cmipci drivers seem to have joystick support.
But even after enabling joystick by editing /etc/asound.sta

After commenting out "#define HAVE_COOKED" line, buttons don't work either,
and "input0: Analog n-axis n-button joystick" messages don't appear in dmesg
on loading analog module.
