Where can I get fm801-gp module? I can't find it in 2.4.19-pre10 kernel tree. > on other drivers, you need to turn on the control switch. > this switch turns on "the legacy joystick support". hence, in > addition to that, ns558 module is required. I have fm801 and es1370 cards on my pc, and a joystick attached to es1370 gameport. Of cource, I activated "Joystick Enable" switch. But, I can't load ns558 like this: ---------------------------------------------- bash-2.05# modprobe ns558 /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre10/kernel/drivers/char/joystick/ns558.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre10/kernel/drivers/char/joystick/ns558.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre10/kernel/drivers/char/joystick/ns558.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre10/kernel/drivers/char/joystick/ns558.o: insmod ns558 failed ---------------------------------------------- How can I load ns558 module? > the joystick is supported on the following pci cards: Thanks for the list. But, how about cmipci? The cmipci module also seems to have joystick switch.
