helped. Anyone got an idea what could cause this problem? It's
annoying me so much that I want to get to the bottom of it :-)

Thanks for the tip, but like I mentioned in my first mail, I have tried the
various model types for my Dell and it didn't help. I'll have another go at
it, but I'm afraid it's a dead end.
