I've got ALSA version 1.0.2c-3, XMMS 1.2.7. Sound has worked in mplayer,
artsd, etc. But it won't work for XMMS or KScd. XMMS is set to use OSS
drivers, and OSS volumes.
This is my lsmod file, looks like XMMS is loading fine:
snd-seq33648 0 (autoclean)
snd-pcm-oss37
Oops, didn't send to the list. Yes, I am. And now that I think about it,
XMMS will play normal files.
