[Alsa-user] Getting my microphone to work (snd-hda-intel)

Hi, I would like to record from my microphon. When I use "arecord test.wav" the file is 44 bytes long and contains no input. In alsamixer I have "Capture", "Capture 1" and "Capture 2" all set to 100% and enabled the Capture (there is a red label saying CAPTURE togehter with L and R above) it.
