Well, I'd say no, that doesn't make any sense with that I said on my mail, as I said, this only happens with the OSS interface, not with the ALSA interface, further more, what I hear metallic is not something that I'm recording with my mic, is the playback voice from skype, so nothing to do with my feedback. And you say nothing has changed on the driver... well, I believe that the add on of the pcm oss plugins is something that was added from rc2 to rc3 and that seems to cause this, again, as I said on my mail it is only happening on sbawe, and not on other cards I have.
