I'm running Debian, and I recently upgraded this machine to the 2.6.3 kernel and KDE 3.2. ALSA was working fine before the upgrade. Now it doesn't work at all; cat /proc/asound/cards produces "--- no soundcards ---". If I log in to a character-mode console (e.g. Ctrl-Alt-F2) I can play mp3s succ
