i have written an application which works fine .but there is
buffer underun problem .but it corrects itself after some time. i

I am attempting to install ALSA and in preparation
have compiled a custom kernel. I'm using Redhat 8
system, kernel 2.4.20-18.8, and have an integrated
Sound Blaster card with Ensoniq 1371 chip set.
