I tried to connect my keyboard with my soundcard! Nothing happened!
And I tried to record something with my two analog line-inputs! Bu

Hi there,
I'm sorry! I tested my outputs with a stereo-file before. Now I tested it with
ardour and a 8channel output and they are working! But it sounds not "clean".
I have tested my midi connections with KAconnect and ZynAddSubFX. I connected
my keyboard with a midi cable to my soundcard and

How was it tested? On openSUSE 11.1, pulseaudio is used as the
default backend, and it supports two-channel output.

Ho
He can only get 2 channels to play instead of 8, as PHASE 28 should
support. Also, he can't get MIDI to work.

Hi there,
Yesterday I tested my Midi In and Outputs and they don't work like the 2 analog
Inputs and 6 of the 8 Outputs.

Hi.
Thanks for your answer. How I can define digital or analog input (a
the end, a capturing device) in .asoundrc? I tried some examples, but
I didn't succeed. Can you help me?
Thanks a lot

Hi All
I have found that it is best to have a good .asoundrc (or /etc/asound.conf) that defines all inputs and then jack can happily see everything.

Hi.
The digital input works, with audacity, in Slackware, too. I can, both in JAD -
Jacklab and Slack, select in audacity, with no jack server running, the
analog input, but I obtain the same result: I record only silence, even though
it seems that there is an input signal.
Can anyone has an id
