Hi Takashi, I've tried all combinations such as pci=biosirq,bios with and without acpi=noacpi. Still no luck. The card plays a very short portion of the wave file (something in the range of half a second), then keeps on looping that bit until aplay returns with an I/O error. Any idea what else

Hi, since I bought my Thinkpad R30 (~1 year ago) I tried to make ALSA work on it, but until now (ALSA 0.9.1, Kernel 2.4.20 and Kernel 2.5.62) I didn't succeed. Kernel 2.4's trident driver works just fine (but Kernel 2.5's doesn't). After loading snd-ali5451 successfully, I dont get any sound out o
