Yeah, xruns - that's the one. If your system isn't configured for low-latency work [1], you usually get a lot of them until you set big buffer. Can you test with bigger buffers? I believe (and I would like to confirm that it's not just me) that card works perfectly on 48000 and not so great on 441

Hi, First off, a big thanks to James Courtier-Dutton - I had given up on using my card (E-mu 1820) but installed Linux (Ubuntu 8.04) again this summer only to notice that there was now support! I think I've just about got my head around controlling Jack, alsamixer and Ardour (at least the basics)
