One more funny thing when playing a 44k mono signal, there is no output on spdif, and neither is there on the DAC. Some soft squishing noises perhaps, but nothing more. Maybe the 44 k reported by xmms is not exact. Or maybe mono is the problem? Cheers, Thomas
