Well - quite an outcry against forums. I eventually
give up on lists because it's so difficult to go back
and retrieve an old message. There's a constant
stream of unrelated messages on different subjects.

I have Mandriva 2006 and SuSE 10 installed (pro tem)
on a new computer (AMD Athlon 64).
I emailed Foxconn, the motherboard manufacturer, when
a driver from nVidia failed to work in Mandriva and
