It is a symbolic link
# cd /proc/asound/
bash: cd: /proc/asound/: No such file or directory
# ls -l /proc/asound/dev
ls: /proc/asound/dev: No such file or directory

immedate after installation of "alsa-driver-0.9.0rc3.tar.bz2" as "root"
or I
don't need to install "alsa-oss-0.9.0rc1.tar.bz2" first because it is not
required in the "Quick Install"
