Hi,
I have a similar problem.
Do you use the oss emulation or alsa drivers when you are using mpg123 ?
If you use alsa, it will open your device (ie your soundcard) and it will not
allow other application to use it simultaneously.
Arts or esound, which works with oss emulation, allows multiple op
Hi,
does anyone can tell me what is the aserver tool provided with the alsa-lib
package v0.9beta9 ?
Is it a kind of sound wrapper or else specific for alsa ?
If so, where can I find a documentation of using this tool ?
Thanks,

Does it exist an alsa sound wrapper (aserver maybe ?) in order to play
several files in the same time ?
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm a newbie in sound and I finally installed my Terratec EWS88MT using the
latest drivers (0.9.0beta9).
It seems to work, when I use aplay with default parameters, I can hear sound
on the lines 1 ans 2 of my external box.
My question is how can I play in same time another sound file on the
eems that it does not find the library.
I also watch in the mailing list archives but the search feature does not
work today.
I'm very sorry for all my questions, but I really need this soundcard working
under linux.
Please help me,
thanks a lot,
Nicolas DEVERGE
