Iam currently running Slackware 8 and the lastest alsa-0.9.0-beta10a
drivers with a SB live 5.1,
they work great apart from I ve noticed that the bass and treble sliders
on any mixer program (including alsamixer) don't actually alter the bass
or treble volume at all.

the Alsa drivers (the normal oss ones are knackered on my SBLive)

Where would i put the settings to recover the previous mixer settings?
Ie save on reboot and reinitialise on startu
Try plugging the speakers into the correct output jack usually green!

eat, but as ive been using RH for the past 4 years, I really would like to
carry on using it..but hopefully with the Alsa drivers, that should remove
the locking problem.
