Iam currently running Slackware 8 and the lastest alsa-0.9.0-beta10a drivers with a SB live 5.1, they work great apart from I ve noticed that the bass and treble sliders on any mixer program (including alsamixer) don't actually alter the bass or treble volume at all. Is there anything I have to

Ive got the drivers working (0.9) on for my SB Live, but every time I reboot, the sound is mutted, if i run any mixer or alsamixer and put the sound back to full it works just fine. Where would i put the settings to recover the previous mixer settings? Ie save on reboot and reinitialise on startu
