Most of the documentation refers to rcalsasound 'start|stop' etc.. but my
distribute of 7.3 does not seem to have provided such, perhaps it was
included with the original release of the alsa package with my 7.3 SuSE
distribution, but no longer there since I removed the included rpm to make
way
In the RC1, alsaconf keeps getting segmentation errors right after the
graphical interface begins to load and show its loading modules and scanning
for your card. Its unable to load the soundmodules to search perhaps?
