I have a Terratec EWS88MT that works beautifully in my x86 based box, but
I just bought an Alpha based manchine. I don't know if I'll be moving the
card over to that machine or not. Still I was wondering what the state of
support is for the Alpha platform is in ALSA in general, and for the

Fixed as of when? I grabbed the 2001-11-15 CVS snapshot from the FTP
site, still seeing the exact same thing.

I was pleasently surprised today when I looked at the sound card matrix
today and saw that the TerraTec EWS88MT was white instead of green.
So I grabbed the lastest beta (9), configured it with ice1712 support.
Compiled, installed, tried to insert the module, but modprobe just sat
there, ps shows
