Ok, I admit I am running ALSA at v0.9 something, what came installed with
Debian Unstable, but, ever since getting ALSA running, all I ever heard was
"Don't set your volume settings above 75%" - Why?
I have been running ALSA with volume settings at 74%, since AlsaMixer seems to
"jump" to around

scripts. With the base sound provided with this OS, it just remembered your
sound volume settings for you, and upon returning to the OS, it simply re-set
