Question: A friend of mine has a CMI8330 onboard soundcard, and with alsa it
is noisy and distorted ... I think it's something from the samplerates, but
I have no ideea how to fix that ... and example of settings or something
could help, because i never had any problems with alsa on my 2 soundca
Nope , i don't have any of theese switches ... i have a lots for my
somekindofnumber dacs ... but none for modem or joystick ...
Any ideea how the parameters are called ?? so i can put them in that config

Ok. I read in the documentation that there is a switch for modem and
joystick. That has to be activated (and I guess there is one, since I see
them in the file defined, and I have the soundchip modem too, but I have no
switches in any mixer I use for this ... not for joystick and not for modem
Does anybody know how do I use/apply the soundeffects that i get with
CMI8738 on sounds ? I mean not in games ... directly on XMMS , or generally
any sound (because in windows I could set that from it's mixer ... like
Underwater, Concert Hall, and other freaky stuff like that). And i kinda
