[Alsa-user] CMI8330 ISA sound distorted and noisy ?

Question: A friend of mine has a CMI8330 onboard soundcard, and with alsa it 
is noisy and distorted ... I think it's something from the samplerates, but 
I have no ideea how to fix that ... and example of settings or something 
could help, because i never had any problems with alsa on my 2 soundcards, 
not even putting them to work together ... so i never cared for extra 
settings.
