[Alsa-user] Help with getting Traktor Kontroller Z1 to work

This is a follow up on the "no sound from front speakers" problem. To recap: I've upgraded from 0.5 to 0.9.0b10a, and lost PCM from my front speakers. Rear speakers are fine, other inputs are fine. I thought the problem was with the mixer, and Jesse sent me his asound.state; that didn't help,

[Alsa-user] SBLive front speakers - still not resolved?

Hello! I am running Alsa-Driver-0.5.11. I am using my onboard soundcard VIA 8233. But the quality of mp3 files played under linux is not comparable to the same file played with win. Is somebody else experiencing this effect? Any suggestions how to improve the sound quality? Regards, Boris
