Hello, I have been having problems with the alsamixer.
It seems usb devices like my Edirol UA-5 don't have
mixer elements. Anyway, I've been having VERY VERY low
input from microphones when recording. I wondered if
it could be due to the alsamixer? I use CCRMA Audacity
to record. Even if I set my g

I'm wondering if there's really no way to use the generec "surround51"
as DMIX's. Since I'm using this crappy ca0106-card which has hw:0,0 ->
front; hw:0,1 -> rear; hw:0,2 -> Subwoofer/mid I can't route a 6 channel
sound via DMIX to all speakers but only to two.
