I'm new to the list, although not new to alsa. I've been using alsa on my linux box at work since version 0.9.6 and I'm very pleased with it. However, I'm having no luck getting alsa to work on my box at home. The difference? At work I use snd-cs4236 and at home I'm using snd-intel8x0. Let m

Hi Ross, Thanks for the reply. In my Analog Volume tab I have: DAC 0 & DAC 1 both are set to 127 I don't have any ADC volume values, unless thats what DAC is. (again, i dont do much with audio). Im running envy24control v. 0.1.0 that comes in alsa tools 1.0.4. Thanks again. > -Original

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible, using one of the configuration files, to "hide" or "remove" channels in the mixer. As it is, there are 36 channels, of which I use 3. I have no need for the others, and I don't want to have to scroll through them. Is it possible to hide them? Thanks! --
