Hi,
Well, I don't know, maybe it's just an odd hardware setup or something.
I did copy the relevant stuff from here into my .asoundrc, with the same
results.
Thanks a lot for all your efforts, anyway! :)

Let me clarify: the real issue is *mixing* normal stereo out the L and R

Hi,
I added a new interface to ALSA 1.0.2 for handling the SoundFont file
without OSS sequencer emulation. The latest awesfx package,
ver.0.5.0, includes a new program "asfxload" for that. As you imagine
easily, it's the ALSA-native sfxload program.
It works just like sfxload but loads via ALSA

Hi,
thanks for your response. I have further question:
- with Revo I can only get 4x2 stereo channels (no mono outputs). Can I do
some more with 410 - to have 8 mono outputs with separate volume controls
(or maybe 2 stereo channels and 4 mono) ?
- there was a guy that confirmed 410 working with 4

Hi,
I have prices at hand. Revo is half price of Delta410. It seems like both
have 8 output channels, I wonder what are other differences specially
considered from Linux support viewpoint ? I'd like to use card to output 4

Hi,
I'm not sitting at my linuxbox now, so I'm not sure I'm telling you the absolute
correct things now, but I try.
In lsmod I'm missing a module called "soundcore" (I think). Did you compile you
kernel with sound support?
Have you edited the /etc/modules.conf? Should look like this:

Hi,
As a followup on this subject (see below) I've come near to a decision

with JACK for this USB adapter.
Does anybody has any advice on this subject? Does the UA-20 work

OK. I hope the rather weird names aren't too confusing! I commented out
the previous dmix and dsnoop entries (dm1 and dsn1), thinking it might

Hi,
