Is the documentation in
/usr/share/doc/alsa-driver-0.9.4/documentation/DocBook/alsa-driver-api-tmpl user
documentation, or is it how to write a device driver documentation, or something else?
Where would I find user documentation, other than the wiki, the alsa-project site, the
card matrix, etc
Now that alsa is included in the 2.6.x kernel, how about updates?
Last months, there has been quite some activity with new releases following
each other briskly. How will this happen for the new kernel? Will there be
kernel patches coming out with every new alsa release? Who will make them

Hi,
on my original problem with alsa module cs46xx freezing during a

Hello
There's no sound coming from my recent linux system - I believe the needed

the troubleshooting guide, I ran a few commands and the results are as
below. Could anyone pls suggest what might need fixing.
Thanks

Christian,
First, use TiMidity++-2.12.0-pre1b source instead with ALSA 0.9.x. Find
it at http://www.timidity.jp . Better yet, try the newer, unstable
versions of TiMidity++ at http://www.sf.net/projects/timidity . Nightly
tarballs are made of the source. Although bugs exist, I can hardly
