Ive got a mother board of intel model no 815eea2.
I don't get it coz there are so many sound cards in the sound card matrix
list at the alsa site with 8x0 written with them which one should i use.
Pls im a newbie.
Also where can i get the video card and the drivers for the other onboard
device

I'm french user of Midiman Dio24/96 user and i use alsa-driver-9 with
ice1712 module on a debian woody system with kernel 2.2.20.
I get all the utils lib and driver in beta version on your website.
I made all source of this, no problem.
modprobe snd-card-ice1712 work fine
modprobe snd-pcm
I am installing alsa-driver-0.9.0beta10 which is required by TV tuner card
viewer avview. Previously I installed alsa(same) on Mandrake 8.1 with a new
kernel. Now I am using Mandrake 8.2beta, and the dmesg:

With alsa its possible to play two diferent pcm songs, isn't it??
Like two xmms open playing two mp3...
On my sbawe64 (ISA), i didn't can do this with the alsa-0.5.x and whenever
with the last beta version of alsa.
Whats can be going wrong??
PS.: i'm using the oss emulation.

I've used the kerneldriver for a while with my SB Live Platinum..
Since I work alot with sound/music I realized that ALSA would be best
for that purpose..
But how the heck can I get bass/treble and the midisynth to work?
I use aumix as mixer, and bass/treble shows upp. But there's no
difference

which should store your card settings.

I have some problems configuring alsa. I'm using a Hercules Gamesurround
Fortissimo II with a CS4236 chip. After starting the tool alsaconf, the
correct chip is detected. But when alsaconf tries to load the driver,
the following error message appears:
