hi,
maybe someone over here might be so kind and help me, i would be really
thankful.
i keep having troubles with installation / configuration of the terratec ewx

Hello,
In the docs files listing the supported cards we can see that for
instance up to 8 sblive can be detected.
I would like to know if i put 2 sblive in my computer
will I be able to use them as a "card" with 4 inputs ?
Thanks a lot,
Linium

I'm guessing then that this card isn't supported. It's a PCI card, with
a the only connector a 15 pin out tha connects to 8 1/4 inch jacks - 4
ins, 4 outs. Guess I have to save for the Delta 44. thanks.

That sounds a lot like the problems I often have/had when trying

Unless I use "snd" I can easily record a very nice Buzzz unless
I turn down the PCM channel doing it with anything else...

This is a follow up on the "no sound from front speakers" problem.
To recap: I've upgraded from 0.5 to 0.9.0b10a, and lost PCM from my
front speakers.
Rear speakers are fine, other inputs are fine. I thought the problem
was with the mixer, and Jesse sent me his asound.state; that didn't
help,

Has anyone had any luck with this card? According to the sound card
matrix, the DMAN PCI is supported with the cs46xx driver, but I'm pretty
sure that's a different card. The chips on this are labelled cs4222.
I'm using Alsa-0.9beta10 from Debian unstable. Thanks.

Hi.
I have installed alsa driver 9.beta10 and it works
fine, but the volume level at the speakers is very low

Hi,
Are via686 and via686a the same chipsets? A friend of mine has a laptop
with a via686 chipset (according to /proc/pci), but the alsa driver
(0.9beta10) says "no such device". Any hints?
Thanks!

Hi there,
I am running RedHat Linux 7.2 kernel 2.4.9-13. I have installed the stable

I have got it to work and I am able to play sound.

I've installed all packages:
alsa-driver-0.5.12a.tar,alsa-lib-0.5.10b.tar,alsa-utils-0.5.10.tar

Hi,
I'm having problems getting my shiny new midi keyboard to work. It connects
via the gameport of my SBLive to the computer. The SBLive is the second
card besides a M-Audio Audiophile. If I run "aconnect -i" to list the input
devices, no midi hardware device shows up, only my virmidi stuff:
