Hi,
I just have compiled texmacs 2.1 with guile 3.0 in a bullseye chroot.
For testing purposes would be nice to have the ability to
create a static version to avoid conflicts with different guile
versions, but apparently it's not possible ATM.
Best regards

Hi all,
all of a sudden my TeXmacs 1.99.13 stopped working today.
If I run it from cli, it gives me the error that I report below.
Apparently Guile 1.8 stopped working. I'm trying to recompile it
but no version gets it through. The Guile 1.8 provided

Are you going to load it back into Debian Sid?

Hi,
I'd like to ask what are the plans for TeXmacs in the midterm.
I sadly noticed today that right now on my brand new bullseye PC
there no easy way anymore to compile it (and prepare a presonal .deb file)
because QT4 has been removed
(and of course guile-1.8 too but this is a smaller issue).

With the new policy of having a 100% debian repo

Hi,
since I run cfengine3 on all the clients for our special purposes,
I've put a "BrowsePoll www:631" line into cups-browsed.conf.
This is also a good conf. in situations like a multicast blocked

The same could be done via cfengine2 Skole install mechanism

Hi,
I just stopped myself before hitting an Y on
dist-upgrade... (on jessie tjener)
What about gosa upgrade? Do we have
to accept new gosa conf or keep the existent
confs as usual?
Regards

resolve on the short _vlmcs._tcp name
without messing up manually with db.intern (and putting it into
a conflict with ldap2dhcp script)? In GOsa for SRV record
I don't see any port option.

Hi,
are username in the art fistname.lastname
allowed in Gosa?
AFAIK in old POSIX this is not allowed.

Hi,
I've noticed that in the source.list of fresly installed
WS there is only the generic http.debian.net repo instead
of the national ones. Is it an inteded behaviour?

Hi,
I'm wondering if there are news from the front. I'm
going to start the new school year running Skole/Jessie.
Regards
Giorgio
P.S: A refresh of the install media would be of benefit, I think.

Hi,
in wheezy I configured all the printers on tjener and
setting the BrowseAddress to 10.164.89.255 for my 10.164.88.0/23
the queues where published to the WS clients automagically.
Same on jessie doesn't work. Did change some basic behaviour in cups?

that nscd was correctly
working (but it wasn't). Manual nscd -i netgroups hanged.

Hi,
I've noticed that the correct order to fix is
1) restart nslcd
2) restart nscd
3) restart nfs-common and nfs-kernel, both needed
4) restart autofs
Restarting first nscd and then nslcd didn't fix.

g that there is some kind of race condition at boot
between ncsd/autofs/nfs4. Woould be wise if someboby else could
try to reproduce my events.

Hi,
calling each time on tjener
ncsd -i netgroup
after gosa modification finally allows more WS logins
What hell happened for the whole day today? And why I have to
call again and again a nscd cache refresh?
Finally some smile

my WS called client8855 can mount. Is it possible that the
FQDN parsing can block further list reading? (Or the opposite of course).
Is a double entry for 1 single WS necessary?
Regards
P.S: In the whole morinig I had client8847 on top list allowed to mount
