b) persuade a new player to give you a (one-time) White Ribbon award.

I think I interpreted the rule differently. Can you cite precedent?
I’m happy to accede without a formal CFJ - it doesn’t change any of the other
ribbons, and it’s fairly clear that the intention is that players award one
another white ribbons.
