That's a great name - and monthly was a time frame I was looking at - I
might make it a switch actually that can be flipped without some objection
- if we get into an active period again it might be nice to easily switch
the type of reporting on a newspaper.

How about Archivist? Also, may I suggest that newspaper, if it is kept,
should be made monthly?

I disagree. It seems perfectly reasonable to ask the reporter to link to
resources, but requiring them to do research on request seems unnecessary.
It doesn't fit well with my conception of the reporter's job description
anyway.

I think this should replace or be merged/combined with the very
inactive (since its beginning) Reporter.
A Research Request is defined as a request for information about the
history of Agora.
Once per month, each player MAY submit a Research Request from the Research
Assistant. The Research Assistant SHALL put a reasonable effort into
completing each Research Request, and SHOULD complete it in a rea

Any player already can do that, by deputising for the office.
Greetings,

Might I suggest penalizing them only if fewer than x number of other
officers were tardy in their reports? Also, I like the auto shredding after
doing a report on time.

I have a master XML file that I manually edit, that has rules in numerical

shall be required to respond to research inquiries in a reasonable amount
of time.

This directly comes from G,'s linking to old CFJ archives - caselaw and
archived materials should be easily accessible to all agorans without too

I also present the CFJ history of rule 478 as supporting arguments to me

CFJ 1695, 1719, and 1833-1834 seem especially relevant - they mostly deal
with players, and as such are related, but not direct precedent of what
