Agreed, but apparently doesn't work when the router is a UFiber ONU. I'm more amused at Nintendo's suggestion.  One of our tech support guys actually tried it and it broke the customer's internet on all devices that weren't the switch. On 4/20/2021 8:57 AM, Darin Steffl wrote: Consoles shoul

That is actually not true. The radio powers up, but won't pass ethernet until the pairs are switched. We bench tested quite a few different PSU's and all gave us the same result yesterday. Once I flipped blues and brown around, it worked like a charm. On Mon, Apr 19, 2021 at 5:59 AM Caleb Knauer

That doesn't make any sense... is that using 100Mbps or gigabit ethernet? If it's 100M, those pairs shouldn't make a difference one way or the other, but I would think Gigabit would be less likely to work with them swapped (in my experience gigabit will work either way though). Except DMZ only forwards the ports not being used for other connections. This breaks the Internet for all devices except the one you forwarded ports to. On 4/20/2021 11:30 AM, Mathew Howard wrote: Isn't that basically the same thing a DMZ does? On Tue, Apr 20, 2021 at 10:18 AM Adam Moffett

DMZ does not break the internet access for all other devices behind the NAT. DMZ ip is where the unsolicited packets will be forward. Solicited packets with a matching NAT state will be forwarded on to the original host. On Tue, Apr 20, 2021 at 12:07 PM Adam Moffett wrote: > Except DMZ only forw
