Hi all,
I did a backup stg *** *** preview=yes and noticed that there is a
25G file in the primary storage pool, I am wondering if there is any way to
find out from which node the file is and what is its name. Thanks.

I acturally saw this same error message a couple of days ago on our DLT

server started up. I do not think these errors will stop TSM from starting.
Are you really sure the server was not up?

I am also going to do the same this weekend, but on AIX. However the
procedure should be pretty much the same. These steps are what I am gonna

Hi,
I have a copy stgpool that I could not find the corresponding

Thanks.

Hi,
We just hooked a qualstar 4222 tape library to our ADSM 3.1.2.50 (on
AIX 4.3.2). The 2 drives are sony SDX-500C (Ait-2) and the tapes are

of the tape is only 20G:

Hi all,
I am planning to upgrade our current ADSM 3.1 to TSM 4.1. I talked
with IBM and got a quote of ~$40,000 (after 40% discount) for our RS/6000

than my budget based on a quote for TSM 3.7 I requested from IBM i

will work, (2) if we later enable 64-bit kernal, will it cause trouble on

There used to be a netware NDS backup/restore guide from adsm ftp

Dear all,
We just got a IBM 3583 LTO library. Currently we have one single
stgpool for all our Netware, NT, UNIX servers without collocation. But now
we want to define different a stgpool and set up collocation for each OS so
they have different set of tapes, which may give a little bit be
You need to delay your upgrade. We are running AIX 5L and TSM 5.1. Server

we are trying to decide what LTO drives we should purchase: HP's or IBM's. I
have a white paper about the "Adaptive Tape Speed" technology used on HP LTO

and adjusts the writing speed of the drive to match the host computer.
I would like to get a Fibre Channel Adapter for our F80 TSM server that
supports sigle-mode, so that I can put a library into another building for
disaster recovery purpose. I checked with IBM and the card I can get from
