A script may be what you need, but if you can live with the results broken
down by nodename AND filespace, then a 'QUERY OCCUPANCY STGPOOL=poolname'
may offer a simpler alternative to your 'QUERY NODEDATA' command. Both the
nodename and filespace parameters are optional and default to '*'.

Hi Jeff!
Thank you VERY much for your reply! You did put me on the right track.
It resulted in the most complex SQL statement I ever created:
select a.node_name as "Nodename",count(*) as -
"Amount of backup files older than 30 days" from backups a,nodes b -
where ((days(current_date) - days(

Are you asking how copy pool works?
We number our pools, such as DB-xxx-01, the disk, primary and copy pools all
have the same prefix and suffix. This helps us keep the pools from getting
mixed.
When we run backupstg we backup the disk pool and primary pool to the matching
copy pool. Backupstg
Hi and thanks for the reply Andy,
My question was to have the copypool identic to the tapepool i should do an
incremental backup but how ?
And for the activepool-file how i have to do to copy active file in ?
Regards, Mickael

Backup stg is the command, you specify the source and destination pools.
I have no experience with active pools, so I cannot answer that question.

Hello,
Thank you for your answers. We do not use compression or encryption (except on
2 servers) and our video files will not be in the copy pool. So we will go with
the VTL then.
Best Regards,
Daniel
