Hi Steve, In the Tivoli\TSM\TDPExchange directory can you find a tool called MAPITEST or TESTMAPI. Run that tool to verify that your MAPI settings are correct. If no, then can you run the same command with /debug and get full information why you can't extract or restore your mailbox in to your c

If you can choose to have the client run the task instead of having the CAD run it, I'd setup a task on the client to run and "wake-up" the machine to run it if it is not running. If that is not an option, you might try some "wake-on-lan" option. Ray -Original Message- From: ADSM: Dist

Depending on the size of the restore, you might consider replacing the single tape drive with a small NAS disk device with deduplication such as a Data Domain, Quantum or Netapp. This device could be configured to contain an active data pool for the MC servers as well as a backup of the TSM dat

Thanks, Ray. We have been able to restore the mailbox with another tool, IBM's SMBR, once we mount the mailbox database. So, it is definitely in the database. As for where the email account resides when it is backed up, I'm not sure what you mean (sorry, not a Windows person). Steve Stephen J
