Is there a way to backup w2k3 shadow copy data in 5.1.6.x?
I cant browse System volume information with TSM client and I guess it´s
not being backuped as a part of System Object.

For other people having this problem
Just talked to IBM support, raw volumes are not supported yet under
linux.(tsm 5.2.2) The support person told me he would ask the developer
when and how it will be supported.
When I hear some more I will keep you guys updated.

Well... Bruce's expiration is about 70 objects per second, which is
comparable with mine, but that's not normal, unlike you stated.
According to an IBM support document
(http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21141810) one should be able
to expire 1055 objects per second!

As far as my cache hit % it varies from 98.x to 99.x.
I think what my problem is that I moved expiration from after reclamation to
before it. I have changed it back. Also my problem is right now I need
more tapes drives because I have no window when either backups, or my other
daily processing is

There is no support for shadow

Remove the work "start /B" from the script file.
Instead of this:
start /B domdsmc selective * /subdir=yes /adsmoptfile=dsm.daily.opt
/logfile=domdsm.daily.log dominc.daily.log
Use this:
domdsmc selective * /subdir=yes /adsmoptfile=dsm.daily.opt
/logfile=d

Shadow copy is supported for backing up System State on W2k3 under client
version 5.2.x and Server version 5.2.x. You must be at both versions for
this to work without errors.
