Fernando,
As far as I know the "slot table" is only initialized when the library is
defined.
Whenever we have upgraded the capacity on one of our libraries, we have
done the following:
- note any scratch tapes
- checkout all volumes remove=no
- delete all drives
- delete library
- define library
Hello,
we are using TSM v. 4.2.1.7 for AIX.
I'm looking for the possibility to get information about client events with

Hello
We are going to upgrade our TSM 4.2 to 5.2. I know that we need to put the
latest fixes on for 4.2, but I was wondering if you'll had experienced any
other issues we might want to be aware of.
Thanks

my personal FACTS:
I can find things easily on this new web page.
I only cannot remeber how I found it, where it was,
so I never feel sure whether I found exactly what I wanted to
or only something similar.
my personal FEELING:
It makes me feel quite uncomfortable.
Hmm - need a couch?

It was fairly straightfoward and quick, but we have 3494 libraries and
had done am audit fix=yex the week prior.
We had a gotcha afterwards with some data being in ADSM 3.7 format that
caused problems afterwards, but we made then roadonly and did move datas
on them.

Looking for a small DLT 40/80 (DLT8000) library that we could use for a
small site with TSM. Something with maybe one drive, 4 slots? Do they make
anything this small ?
Recommendations appreciated.

ATL has a 7 slot DLT library. And we have a couple of very old 5 slot DLT
libraries,
but we don't use them with TSM. I am sure they could be supported.
