Yes, you can cancel the backup storage pool command. When you issue the command you may want to use maxpr to use more than 1 process (2 drives) so you can get it done faster. The process may not immediately cancel, but when finishes the aggregate it is copying and tries to go to the next it will

Yes you can just do a "cancel proc" and it will die after it finishes the current file. When you issue the "backup stg" command later, it will do files that do not have a backup. We do this all the time when we have service people come in. Hope that helps -- Phillip Ford Senior Software Speci

Yes, you can cancel the process and restart it. The BACKUP STGPOOL command determines which data is not backed up yet and will back up only that data. When you cancel the process, depending on how large of a file it is working on, it may take a little while for it to complete that file and s
